Bus 960 to base: Training Nick
Hey Nick! Ready to go? Inspect the bus first, then come and get me for the keys. Remember, this is a Handicap Bus...
Re: Bus 960 to base: Training Nick
I checked every light on bus, gauges, lift, emergencey exits, and doors, all set to go.

10-4... Make a left onto Oxford Road. Continue to Partridge Hill Road, where you will be making a test stop. What do you do at a bus stop?
Re: Bus 960 to base: Training Nick
I approach bus stop with my amber lights flashing. Once at bus stop I switch my reds on, and look in mirrors to make sure all cars are stopped before opening the door. Once the student is on the bus, I close door behind them. Once student sits, I check mirrors and wait 5 second before turing lights off, to check for any pedestrians that maybe using my red lights to cross the road as well.

Continue down Oxford Road and then swerve left onto Richard Corner Road. There, make a Handicap Stop... Afterwards, Continue about a quarter mile until you come to the train tracks... What do you do there?

For a handicap stop:
I approach stop with amber on and 4-ways on. Then once I'm stopped I switch my reds on, and shut down the bus. Now I would move to the back, and operate the lift. Once kid is up on bus I would lock them into place, and then go and shut everything down. Then take off.

Railroad Crossing:
I would approach the track about 200 FT with my 4-ways on. Once at track put in (N). then open drivers window, and open service door. Then after its clear to go I would repeat these steps backwards, and put bus in 1st gear and drive off then put bus back into (D), and shut off 4-ways.
BTW: mom wants me to get off computer we have to finish this tommorrow at 9:00AM

Now continue to US Route 20, and go down to Carroll Hill Road. Make a left and head down Old Worcester...until Morton Station Road where you will go back to base. Please fill out the driving form for 960 here. And BTW, Just fill it out for today, and it was 20 Miles. Thanks again!
